Outdoor Shower Curtain Cushions

August 7, 2015 by Chris

The next step is to fold each loop of fabric in half. You must match the cut edges and press with an iron with the right side out. After each loop is nice and pressed, it is ready to sew a 3/8″ gathering seam all the way around the strip. The gathering seam should be a longer stitch length with a loser tension.

WARNING! Make sure that your spool of thread and bobbin are full! This works best if there are NO seam breaks. Some people like sewing a double gathering seam. As for me, that’s just way too much trouble and takes too long. So, I went with the one gathering seam route.
