Easter T-Shirt Tie Dyed

April 19, 2014 by Chris

Once you have the background color for the grass, you are in for some freehand drawing of grass blades.  I chose to use three different colors of green. I found these fabric pens at a local hobby store: Hobby Lobby. They are called 3D Fabric Paints by Scribbles and cost about $7.oo for a package of 5 pens. After you layer the three different green colors of grass blades on the shirt, it is time to wait for it to dry. I waited overnight. The next day, I washed the shirt, inside out on a delicate cycle in the washing machine. I dried it on a cooler setting in the dryer. I have worn this fun, Easter themed shirt several times as Easter is quickly approaching! It has been a little on the cool side, so I wore a pink t-shirt underneath. It looked very cute!
