Step #1: To get started, you need to decide what t-shirt you wish to use. I decided to use, yellow, because I wanted to make a smiley face on it. I got this t-shirt at Wal-Mart for just under $6.00. You must use something to put inside the t-shirt so that the bleach pen won’t bleed through to the other side. What I have found that works best for me is a lid to a Sterilite plastic tub. It washes off well and I can use it over, and over again! Just remember, the lighter the color of the t-shirt, the less visible the design will be. For a better contrast, choose darker colored t-shirts.
